am born as the third son of Kadambot Abdulla Moulavi, Eriyad, Kodungallur, Kerala, India on 2nd Nov. 1940. I passed Secondary and enrolled in an Arabic Institution. Then I passed Higher Arabic Exam. later on 16 Aug. 1960 I got employed as Arabic Teacher in Govt school. While continuing in govt. service govt. service, in 1964 I passed Afsal ul ulama title in Arabic from the University of Kerala. In 1968 I got my first degree in Arabic. In 1971 I passed M. A. Arabic in first class and I got appointment as Lecturer in Arabic in Govt. College, Maharaja's College, Cochin. I retired from Govt.Maharaja's College on 31st March 1996 as Senior Professor of Arabic. In the mean time I worked as Lecturer in J. N. College Kavaratti, Lakshadweep,under Govt. of India service for two years from Aug.1973, on deputation. I worked as Lecturer Of Islamics & Arabic in Nigeria, Africa for more than three years from Oct. 1981 on special leave from my service here. Now I am healthy and active in the above fields, after retirement.
